Mr. Yip joins AT&T Canada as Executive Vice President, Network Services.
He is responsible for all network operations including network technology
direction, network planning, network services and support for customers,
and managing the company's network data architecture and databases. Mr.
Yip was most recently with TELUS Corporation where he held various
executive positions in the Operations area and initiated TELUS' multimedia
business as well as created an ASP business in the Geomatics area. He
has also held managerial positions at Jones Lightwave Ltd. and Bell
Canada. A professional engineer, Mr. Yip sits on the boards of Global
Thermoelectric, Alberta Apprenticeship and Industrial Training Board, and
Engineering Science Advisory Council at the University of Western Ontario.
Mr. Yip is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor's
Degree in Electrical Engineering and the Advanced Management Program
at the Wharton School of Business.
