South Africa is a country eternally on the brink of civil war. Hopefully our murder rate is slightly better than theirs? I hope four times better is "slightly" in your lexicon but there is no way of knowing as it changes like the weather. The reference was to restriction of arms in the beginning but it's gotten off track. If you go to the UK, George Harrison recommends a really heavy lamp as a first line of defense. If that doesn't work it sounds like you're in good enough shape you can out run them, which even I would not rule out as an option.
