Hope you don't mind my posting here. I just found your thread and I like what you are doing. I'm looking to invest in the semiconductor industry and take advantage of the next upswing. I just ran a comparison chart of the Nasdaq Composite next to the Semiconductor Index:

Sorry, I could not manage to get the charts to show up together. The SOX outperformed the NASDAQ handily but also seems very closely tied to its movement. I'm secretly hoping that bad news from the big guns like CSCO and today QCOM will cause the SOX to dip back before the semiconductor book to bill improves.

It certainly looks like there should be lots of upside from the bottom. I'm sitting on cash and wondering when to invest. Looks like you are trying to make an determine if we have hit bottom and are ready to spring higher. I guess the question is do you think if we get a couple weeks of consolidation (selling) that the time will ever be any more ripe for investment in semiconductors on this current cycle?

I look forward to reading more of your insight into the industry.
