I agree with duf that early exercise and multiple exercise are unlikely (after looking at the open interest). These nastys are much more likely on options with low open interest/low volume.

My statement was more of an oh, by the way newcomers, there are some bad things that can bite you playing the game, and your post made me think of it at the moment. Did not intend to scare you that much.

Thanks Uncle Frank and william...I Just as soon loose the shares anyway...ARBA closed at $6.90 and they are still in the account...

As you can see this was my first CC exercise, maybe should have paper traded them for starters...

anyway, I guess either way...If the shares get taken, Im still up in the end..

Would it be beneficial to purchase another 1000 arba at a lower price, and write 10 may 7 1/2 CCs??? or would this be considered a mad move amongst the options traders?? Curious on this approach..
