Do you have a rough estimate of the % gain in those rallies?
It would be interesting to see/do a comparative rate-of-change analysis with the current compx or ndx.

edit> If you count only 5 of the rallies at 4 months each, that implies that for 20 of the 32 months prices were going up or flat! Can that be right?
