A list of interesting osx & kin; pde, io, atw, nbr, esv, sosa, ggy, pgo, v.ipe (courtesty BD). E&P's (less upside than above, IMO, will likely be trimming in summer. They're about to get hit with much, much higher drilling costs.) by market cap; vpi, mnd, cog, pog (ng weighted), sfy, prz, dnr, epl, eee, belw (hedges coming off in Oct), hhlf(pure oil) - these mostly value plays. A few exploration plays (hot or cold, not much inbetween) pyr, crzo, tmr(sort of a value play that is getting its exploration legs). Tanker stock that's good for the IRA - NAT. Go to the Boom Boom room if you want an insiders view.

As you're aware, these are cyclic stocks, share prices can tank before commodity prices fall and far before peak earnings. I think the top comes this year for many. Perhaps some of the value stuff chugs along or hits a plateau, but I doubt I'll be holding the stuff into this fall - I plan to be holding only gold bullion. -g-

Thanks, I will pour over that report this week.

I haven't played any of the pure play NG stocks, but I have been in HGT, SJT and BPT for the last year or so, especially in my kids IRA accounts where I play a bit safer than with my money. Dividends are nice and the worst downside is 50% from these highs. Yields are close to 30% for most of them although they are starting to trim back some. LAst month was 40 cents and this month's payout will only be about a quarter. Monthly payouts keep the income nice and steady though.

I also like the refiners but I am still doing some homework as I whittle them down to the best prospects.

Good Luck,

Lee
