Joel Thanks My problem machine is my old "new machine" a PII 400. I do not even remember what my old old one is but I do not use it much for anything (but my wife does and it seems to be working OK) and the two are networked and that works fine sharing printers etc. Time for a "new " new one. Will have it within a week. A P4 with 2 40GB hard drives (not SCUSSI) and 256M RDRAM PC 800. That is what I ordered from DELL and it comes with Windows 2000 professional whatever that is. Yes I would appreciate any help you can offer in setting this up. PM me and perhaps you can help me when it arrives. Thanks MUCH for offering. M
