bought some SYMC at the open at 61.2. I have not been as excited about a stock for quite some time. Incredible perfomance in a bear market. up 90 per cent this year. My subscription to Investor's Business Daily has certainly paid off. There is not much activity on the SYMC thread--yet. Good articles to read there though. Read about is CEO, a black man in a sea of white yuppies in Silicon Valley,a nd a former IBM exec who is transforming sleepy SYMC into a companmy that targets big businesses not consumers, ie., the Navy and Reuters just this week, as opposed to proetecting each little PC against viri. jhg
