Max, you should be able to get DSL if you are that close to a switching station. In theory, you could be as far away as 7,000 Feet, I believe, although your speed may be slower.

There is a site I've used in the past called

getspeed.com

They could tell you the distance you are from a switching station as well as the rates from some competitive carriers.

Good luck, but stay away from the DSL carriers that are going out of business. They've been sticking customers left and right.
