Here are the latest numbers that I know of....though they arent as comprehensive as the numbers you had last year.

A couple of comments....as we were talking about earlier, if GPRS/W-CDMA dont take off, we are going to see slower replacement rates for mobile handsets. Nokia seems to be grabbing marketshare (closing in on 40%) with almost every other manufacturer hurting pretty badly.

While I dont think the target market is large enough to jumpstart the entire mobile sector....1xrtt seems to be on track for an end of the year launch in the US/Japan. Samsung reported that the 1x network they installed in two cities in Korea has 45,000 customers and can be considered "commercial". Reports (some are garbled translations) seem to indicate that the throughput consumers are seeing is somewhere between 60-100kbps. Qualcomm indicated that they have shipped 1m 1x ASIC's in preparation for the US/Korean/Japanese launches.
