You only think that because you won't take my challenge to read the newspapers of the day. You don't have to read the New York Times if you think it's too liberal.

Note that I don't say it's "the cause" - just "a cause." Much like the spike in call rates. Lack of liquidity is a clear cause of market decline in those days.
