some clarification on the deferred revenue. Looks like the auditors are the ones who waited till the 11th hour before advising the company of their intentions.

....Ian Toll, an analyst with Credit Suisse First Boston, said PurchasePro's numbers came in below expectations because, "at the 11th hour," the company's auditors told PurchasePro it had to hold back $10 million in software license revenue, and recognize it over following quarters instead of in the first quarter, as the firm had planned.

"So they ended up missing on the top and bottom line by a fairly wide margin," said Toll, who downgraded his rating on PurchasePro to hold from buy......

For what its worth, I really believe the street is over reacting on this one. I think the share price will appreciate over the next week or two when this all settles down. I think the company is on their way to some substantial earnings very soon. Time will tell. Good Luck to all.
