It seems amd officials did release some info about palomino last night such as mobile 1GHz voltage and average power consumption.

Ok, they finally confirmed some stuff that is already known. 24 watts in a laptop is a good reason for the OEMs to wait for DDR memory to be available, they need the 6-10 watts of lower power consumption for the thing to work, as I suspect that buyers of the 1GHz mobile PIII have found out.
