Proposition: Our world history would have been less violent if there had never been any religions. Discuss.

Atheists yes, agnostics, no. Doubters rarely make slaves of anyone. Atheists (like communists, for example, who have simply exchanged a religious "god" for a secular one) are true believers. Belief is not only the excuse, it is also the cause. It is cause, it is justification, and it is result. imo
