Repositioned all of my NEWP last 2 days (shares & covered calls). Uncovered calls on weakness, sold most of shares on strength & recovered a small portion near the highs. Watched them take NEWP out & short the bejesus out of it this afternoon. JNPR & CIEN were shorted like mad too. I Tried to short CIEN this afternoon. No dice. Will try to short it tomorrow on weakness. FWIW, the CIEN short was my very first ever attempt to short. It's just so hard to take the 'Dark Side'. Me thinks we're going to fill the gap on the NAZ & numerous open gaps on individual stocks. The bottom may be in, but that doesn't mean there won't be serious retracements of recent gains. bwtfdik? btw, congrats on your recent string of success jw. Ö¿Ö

when they produce a chorus of bullish statements on stocks and economy then you will know the bear claw is soon to swipe hard again Let's see - today they are hammering hard on how terrible the outlook is for optics. It managed to push all the leaders down 8-10% (PMCS, BRCM, AMCC, etc). Does that mean they will be running up soon?
