scott...maybe the sector that homs is in has some relationship to its price.....fiber optics out of favor....home building and real estate in favor...look at both ocpi and homs charts...opci moved up very fast, then pulled back...homs moved up, pulled back and today moved near the recent high....both above moving average which is good....

stocks like homs, ocpi, and fdry which have moved above the 50dma should be watched....and when the 50dma crosses the 200dma, they should be bought on a breakout...until then, a trading range....buy on weakness, sell on strength
much junk in tech...the strong will survive...most won't..

look at newp...it moved above the 50dma, couldn't hold and sold off sharply...ocpi is close to the 50dma...if it goes below, then expect more downside....the direction and slope of the moving averages are very important in gauging future price..

have some cash to nibble at those that are basing...
