John,
William has an interesting thread on Alternative Energy. If you have a chance, it would be nice to have your input.
There have been some excellent ideas/technologies discussed. Getting them implemented is the real problem.

Hi John,

The problem is that all of above are seriously behind the curve when it comes to current demand. And with the exception of conservation, the long term solutions to energy demand won't "materialize" (imo) quickly enough to address the energy needs. Continuing high energy costs will be the drag that puts the economy at risk for further contraction.
