Like I said I don't regret buying BAY, despite the high commission. There is really no equivalent silver stock on the U.S. exchanges.

But in the case of gold mining stocks, that is a different story. There really is enough choice among the many that are listed on the various U.S. exchanges. So in this case I will do my best to avoid getting dinged by those high Canadian commissions.
