I believe that Dick Brown is sandbagging the street on guidance and I believe that most of the analysts also sense this is the case. When you get to the $20B level, you set the bar for the next quarter with the bar starting at 50,000 feet, so if you are smart, you do NOT jack it up beyond First Call consensus and you and your shareholders live a lot longer and sleep a lot sounder because the next quarter is a little easier to put in the bag. There are tons of high tech ex-large caps currently in the dumps because their CEOs got them out on a limb and old Dr. Greenspan cut off their legs just above their ba--s.
