That's a tough one. He'll have to line up a wholesale supply of gum. Might be a state license needed. Then there is the problem of getting people to the site.

It's not easy. I know a guy who runs a fitness business who started a site to sell tapes and books on fitness. After a year he folded it.

But who knows? He may have a winner. Too bad he didn't have the idea in '98. He could have gone public, made a fortune off the stock, and folded without ever selling a stick of gum.

Can you splain it a little more???? I mean is he selling chewing gum, or is that the name of the site..

If he is selling gum, where is he getting it, and what would be different about it from the over the counter gum?

That is a wonderful idea! My 10 year old is so creative and is always looking for was to make money....even if it's just .50 or $1. He saw some kids with a lemonade stand last weekend and thought that was super that they were making money!

I think your idea of selling different types of gum that you can't find at the counter is an excellent idea. Tell him he has my support! <g>
