Looked things over and I'm attempting to reach some conclusions: geocities.com It looks like orders turned higher 4 out of 6 years in September. Perhaps in anticipation of Christmas buying in personal computers and consumer electronics? In the Semicap area it looks like COHU is closest to its 5 year low but all the stocks AMAT, COHU, KLAC and KLIC are at least twice as high as previous lows. One can't help but wonder how quickly the industry can recover while the number of out of work consumers is growing in conjunction with numerous bankruptcies showing up among the telecom and dot com companies. No offense to anyone who is already fully invested but I can't wait for the doom and gloom from the press that I feel is coming just around the corner. I'm going to compile a list of semiconductor companies that have announced stock repurchase plans for the thread. RtS
