Message 3081735 ... there's a couple there, it's the first post on that thread ... trying to explain the den.to move, aren't you ... i'm in no hurry to sell, never added enough, that's clear now ... at the same time, it is sort of topping out in its little trend channel there ... but there could be some sort of major event on the way too.

uxc.com - this is the best for PoU i think ... delayed of course, for realtime you have to pay big money ... updated Tuesday mornings for the previous week's trades, if memory serves

hi,
this is the spot price that CCO got per pound for the U3 08
$ 8.21 USin 2000
$10.23 US in 99
biz.yahoo.com
from CCO "Historically about 85% of all uranium is sold under long-term, multi-year contracts with deliveries starting one to three years after signing. Volume contracted by western world utilities in the long-term market in 2000 was about 70 million pounds U3O8, compared to 60 million pounds in 1999. Annual western world consumption in 2000 was about 142 million pounds U3O8."

and DEN says "McClean Lake mill and mine operating costs were consistently reduced through the year. Over 6 million pounds was produced in 2000 and production ceased early in November 2000 in order to modify the mill to further improve mill operations. Although a portion of the shutdown costs were capitalized, the almost 2 month shutdown with no product being produced adversely affected the year's results. The mill is capable of producing in excess of 600,000 pounds of U3O8 per month and, with the large fixed cost component of the operations, the more production in a year, the lower the costs are per pound. In excess of 672,000 pounds were produced in January 2001. "
