I am not sure whether you are offering only a technical argument
for Athlon performance. Or are you trying to imply a business argument as well?

Assuming that you are right, the question for AMD is: will AMD be able to price
a 1.5GHz Athlon at the same level as a 2.0 GHz Willamette?

Intel does not have a performance lead, and will not at any time in the foreseeable future.

Even if Intel gets .13 P4's our before AMD can produce any serious quantity of .13 chips?
