What a dope I am. Judging by the outpouring of sentiment on your ban, I thought you had some worthwhile qualities. I can see plainly now that I was in error. Since you do not have a TV, you obviously missed the very stirring testimony by the congress members on why they made such a law. It was because there are REAL victims that suffered minimal damage to themselves, but lost their babies. And the criminal scum that murdered their unborn child was faced with minimal charges. An outrage. You are right I do not like Feds making laws, but when the crime is so obscene such as this, I support it. Why don't you? You are despicable to try to make political hay out of this.

Scumbria, You forget, friend, that the Rs do not like Federal laws which govern anything but the most intimate of aspects of our lives. For example, the Mexico City policy; the Defense of Marriage Act; the Religious Freedom and Restoration Act; the Personal Responsibility and Work Reconciliation Act of 1996; and the Federal Anti-Terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act quickly come to mind as completely intrusive and invasive pieces of legislation. Keep in mind, in the R dialect, "pro-family" means "so long as we get to define and regulate it." I'm guessing this message might make me some new friends. regards, ham
