Deposit is Sukhoi Log, estimated 43m oz, undeveloped, located in SE Siberia, Irkutsk region, Lake Baikal area. According to recent releases, tenders are expected to be put out shortly. Previous holders, 1997,Lenzoloto paid $50m, made a deal with Star Mining JCI and Standard Bank. Apparently there were irregularities in the privatization of Lenzoloto and the license was revoked.
