<<new orders on the books exceeded billings for sales for the first time since October....>>

This would support Sue Billat's position that biz will rebound strongly in a much shorter, relatively short, cycle.

NV and thread,
I got into Taiwan Semi recently at 20 as a long term investment.. I think increased outsourcing makes the prospects for TSM compelling at these prices. Stock extra depressed because of china situation. These worries come and go. I believe TSM has or is building plants on the mainland. Interesting article recently points to close cooperation between Taiwan business and the mainland. My feeling a Hong Kong solution with dates out 10-20 years will be the core of a Taiwan deal. Any comments! Mike
