Not likely...
PXCM was picked to be on "life support" by several industry watchers. They are likely to survive, but not by much. Being at $10 would be a stretch. This sector is still in a free-fall.
In all likelihood, CPQ's purchase will ignite other purchases, and lead to consolidation of that sector. But there won't be any bidding wars. Everything is on the cheap now. If someone wants PXCM, why spend on a bidding war? You can pick up Marchfirst, Breakaway, Scient and IXcl for about as much as a bid on PXCM, and get a little more in the process.
