Red,

>>(1) Cisco, which I understand has been a 35% customer, dropped to less than 10% of sales, <<

If Cisco's sales dropped to only 10% of sales in the latest quarter and OCPI did as well as they did, I take that as good news. I never have liked owning a company that depended a big percentage of their sales to one or two customers.

I also believe a lot of these companies are hedging them selves by making these comments for that way they will look better going forward if and when they meet or beat expectations. Most all their stock prices are way down so I believe they see they do not have a lot to loose to be very conservative now.

By the way I have not listened to the CC, but may later.

Hank

Most of the high-speed component makers are waiting for CSCO to either consume the large inventories on its shelf or just destroy them altogether. I am curious how the long term contracts work under such downturn, as you know, CSCO has long-term contracts with most of its suppliers during the booming days. I expect to pick up some OCPI around $6.
