Do Mars bars not come from a factory owned by the Mars family?

In the middle of the last century (the twentieth) a company offered as a contest prize a trip to Mars. The contest was to create publicity and they never imagined anyone would meet the requirements to win. But someone did.

To fulfill their obligation, they presented the winner with a trip to Mars, the town.

Does anyone remember the company or its product?
