Flip a coin. When you get this kind of compression it's got to break up or down. I prefer to bet in the direction of the money flow which is positive right now.

i think it's close to ending...that's my interpretation based on sentiment, the various non-confirmations, and the cycle. i also think that the total market index Wilshire 5K , the VL indices (both the cap and equal weighted) and the SnP can be counted very bearishly. even the more bullish alternates would at least argue for a sizeable pullback.

this morning's GDP contained more than a whiff of inflation, with the deflator a full 130 bps above the growth percentage. confirms the recent perkiness in inflation proxy stocks.
