This is off topic to your post but interesting. Some of the leading equine clinics are using Tagamet/cimetidine to cure certain types of cancer in horses. Apparently it neutralizes the PH in the stomach, which I guess means it is an anti-acidic.

I have no idea or opinion, but fyi attached.
