Here is the PPH weighting, looks like mostly the top 8 pharma stocks (I assume they are the top 8 since I don't follow the sector):

End of week thought - I am astounded by the number of posts I read on SI from people who KNOW where the market is going, where gold is going, where the economy is going, all weeks and months and even years ahead.

This is a volatile, uncertain time, folks. Economic data is confusing and conflicting. Before April 15 everyone screamed "Market's gonna CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and it went through the roof. Since then the Naz has held up fine during earnings, thank you.

Moral of the story - if you think you KNOW what will happen the next 3-6 months, you are kidding yourself. Don't make big bets on market directions for now. Plenty of time to play market direction when it's clearer later.

If I were a grad student in psych I would do my thesis on the power of Internet chat boards to induce and reinforce self-delusion. Of course, that would lead me into the GURUs and a bunch of snooty lawsuits, so let's just say we all know who and what we are talking about here......including the gurus, but they would have to shatter their "Internet personas" if they admitted it.

;<)

Have a nice weekend, everyone.

Since I work in a psychiatric hospital I am familar with psych meds the best. The three top prescribed meds the doctors are ordering are serzone (bristol myers squibb), zyprexa (lilly) and trazadone, I forgot who makes it. Almost every patient admitted to our hospital gets trazadone, it helps them sleep and is also an antidepressant. I worked in the local jail for awhile and almost every prisioner got trazadone for sleep. Its not addicting and usually doesn't make you groggy in the morning. It is amazing how well it works for sleep as that is one of the biggest problems our patients have. Lilly seems to be coming out with a lot of new psych meds. I hope this helps.
