To me it seemed like a well constructed short party. Took out all the "stop losses" and fed on it's own momentum. Now, how they cover the short is another story because the market has a definite, positive bias. I think the short move failed, as they wanted at least 5 pts. That would have given them wiggle room to cover. Should be very interesting.

The QWEST alliance sounds very good to me.

No, it's not. We're talking about Microsoft. When they project a ship date in the "second half" of a year, that usually means sometime in the following year or the year after that. If they ship in October, that's actually early.

But it doesn't matter. Nobody cares about XP. Will you to install it on any of your own systems? Do you know anybody who will? What exactly would you gain by doing so?
