Sorry, this is true. The 248nm lasers are used with the current generation of processing equipment. AMD was supposed to use this same equipment with 130nm step & scan equipment to sample Hammer in Q1 2001 and go into volume production in H2 2001. It was not initially intended to be produced using SOI.
