"Are you harassing me?"

Whether or not something is harassment is always subject to interpretation.

Interesting aside.

A woman who in her own words, did not trust me, once asked me if I ever had erotic fantasies about her. This left me in an awkward situation. I knew that she was feeling very doubtful about her own sexuality, and subconsciously wanted me to confirm her own desirability. Yet, I also knew that for me to tell her I had erotic fantasies about her would make her even more edgy about me in the future.

The fact is that a woman who is feeling doubtful about her own sexuality will often turn to a perceived harasser for validation. The fact that Anita Hill often contacted Clarence Thomas after the alleged harassment is not valid evidence that the harassment, nor even perception of harassment, did not occur.
