Hawk, do you think this would ever happen in our lifetime? What would it take to have Taiwan reunify with China? As I said before, I think the "China plane incident" is perhaps the best thing that could have happened to this country. It has hopefully opened a whole generation's eyes to the possibility that perhaps it's wise to pay attention to the past, and to remember that "actions speak louder than words..." And holding hostage our crew, as well as keeping our plane, speaks volumes. How are you anyhow? Hope well! I would love to see Taiwan reunify with China, but only if the Taiwanese people elect to do so, and if they are guaranteed the same political representation on the mainland that they have fought for over the past decades.
