CYBERKEN,

Nader's last run for president may be just that: his last. He certainly doesn't need to see my post to know what is going on in the D and R parties.

Interestingly enough, I made a modest donation to the Nader 2000 campaign through a local chapter. At the end of March I received my check back, with a note from the national committee stating they had JUST RECEIVED my donation. Under federal law, they could not deposit the check b/c of the time elapsed after the check was written. They asked me to resend it, but I declined. The Greens have a long way to go before they are a "viable" party (although Green candidates have made some inroads in some states [NMexico, Maine, Oregon, and elsewhere I believe]). The Ds and Rs would certainly never leave checks sitting around for 6 months!

I can provide you with his committee's address should you want to send a large contribution.

regards,

ham
