To mmmary....if outdated listings are still appearing on the website, this is a matter to be taken up with your local MLS.....in mine, when a listing goes off the market and changes status in the MLS, this updated info is routinely uploaded to the HOMS website by the MLS. On the other hand, I'm sure some houses I listed and sold two years ago are still appearing on those little two-bit websites that invited me to post it there. I never kept a record of where I posted and never went back to delete the listings.....that's the problem with every little dotcom that sprang up to try to make a buck off of real estate listings....there were millions of them. This is not the case with Realtor.com, because everything is handled thru the MLS (which is owned by the local association of Realtors), not individual agents.

Can you ever forsee a situation in which HOMS would collect a transaction/commission/usage fee (like eBay) for a sale on a property ? What are they doing with 2,000 employees at HOMS if all they do is listing fees ?
