daffodil, PrtScrn will copy a picture of your screen [to the clipboard]. Then, open MS word to a blank page and hit EDIT>PASTE. The picture should now be on the MS Word page.
Save the page. You can later attach the Word document to an e-mail. Or, you can paste the screen shot directly into an e-mail as long as you have selected 'rich format'. In Outlook Express you would select NEW MAIL>FORMAT>RICH TEXT and then EDIT>PASTE. You might want to practice by sending such e-mails to yourself.
