indep - I don't know how long you have been following the thread. I agree that DELL is a great company - they go where no one else can because they have the efficiency and focus to make money in markets where others lose. They also have one of the cleanest corporate cultures of any of the techs. I am separating my view of DELL the company from DELL the stock. In that discussion, it's not a question of whether DELL can do what they are doing, it's a question of whether that will build shareholder value - i.e. MY value - in doing so. No earnings growth, or God forbid negative earnings growth, won't achieve that goal. I am pretty comfortable with most of what DELL is doing... I am waiting to see how it gets taken to the bottom line.
