Somebody has taken this latest technology (the car) chopped her down, added 500 hp and over 30( ?)
drivers will try to kill each other tomorrow doing 230 mph in a CART race at Texas Motor Speedway. Over
150 airplanes will fly into Alliance field with people to watch (G)
Build the roads, and the cars will come. Build the Web and the computers will come.
One of the first thing my BIL did after getting a computer was to get a scanner and start sending photos
and you know digital cameras are all the rage. Bandwidth hogs, along with music..
An article in Scientific American discusses 3-D tele-immersion for conferences in the future. Much computer power and bandwidth required.
So this technology is just getting started. Dells recent performance proves they will be there with whatever is
needed in computing power.
Only question remaining is whether shareholders will be rewarded to a greater or lesser extent than
for other equities and from what I've seen one would have to be lucky to find anything better.
Regards
Sig .
(I think global warming may be a real problem since it seems people can now stay warm with only T shirts and clogs )
