In response to questions at the annual shareholders' meeting in Santa Clara, executives said -- as they have for months -- they believe a merger would reduce the variety of content the site offers. Chairman and chief executive Tim Koogle said the company's strong brand and massive user base, and its diminishing reliance on advertising, will stimulate strong growth past this economic downturn.
