Let me tell you a little secret about prejudice. The prejudiced man always feels justified in his hatred. He doesn't wake up and decide to hate for no reason. No - he has worked out a detailed list of reasons that his targets deserve what they are getting from him. Talk to any KKK member... they have REASONS to hate black people... They feel JUSTIFIED.
