I fish several different places so no toon for me. $2,000 per year to dock one anyway, without electricity. I did 75 in the Stratos once, just to see. The dealer guaranteed 85 and probably 90 with a jack plate and a 3 blade prop. No thanks. She smoothes out at 40 and does real nice at 45-50 depending on the water. I like the 225 with the 4 blade because I don't get the ass down nose up stuff. It pops on plane. I use the jon with the 10 horse for netting bait and lakes with a 10 horse limit. I gave away the 20 that came with it as it will plane with 2 guys with the 10. It's a 16 footer. I just may have to do some crappie dunking next week. Then again it might be time to start drifting for cats and hybrid stripers. So many fish, so little time.
