Granted that these goals are modest, but the timeframe is also tight. We are talking about a few trading sessions only. I hold high-quality stocks with a reasonable long time frame, but review my portfolio regularly to weed out the ones with deteriorated fundamentals (ie, CSCO). All my major positions are hedged, one way or another, to take advantage of market fluctuations. Thus I am not a bread-and-butter LTBH type. As to the bet, don't we both have to be gentlemen in order to participate? - well, there could be qualification problems. <g> 'Nuf on this topic. Ibexx
