It is fine to oppose it is fine to accept. I've not seen anyone murdered for disagreeing about ethnic studies. I would certainly try to protect anyone from such a horrible fate, as, I am sure, the ACLU would do. We both care for the unpopular causes. But the unpopular causes do not always make martyrs and they are not always of equal gravity (for me anyway).

That's the popular, majority, PC view.

I sure didn't read it that way. Her bottom line may have coincided with that of the PC view, but her rationale was decidedly capitalistic.
