Thanks for the very interesting comparisons on various content and channel industries. Very enlightening. Looks like I'm way above average on the cinema revs. I'm definitely checking out the interesting new product regularly.

Your comment about "content is king" is getting a lot of discussion these days at AOL/TW. The management there is trying very hard to create a compelling "walled garden" sub-universe of the Internet. Keeping all revenues in house and keeping subscriber's minds on the "right stuff" <w>, i.e. the stuff that generates further revenue streams. Very clever of them to try. I just have to wonder how many subscribers will be satisfied with the offerings. My guess is..... enough to make a business out of. I'm constantly blown away by the subscriber percentage of total Internet traffic that AOL controls. Mindshare, indeed.

Hi Dave:

Except for teenagers who watches movies by going
to theaters? Add video and DVD rentals, and content
will loook a lot better. Come to think of it, these
look rather popular with teenagers too.
