The movie is called "Time Regained" and it does the incredible task of bring Proust to the screen. I would never have thought it could be done. I bought Proust's "Remembrance of Things Past" because I knew it would take me forever to read it, and it did. After reading it I would never have thought it could be adapted for the screen. The trick was not to adapt it, really, but to make a new art form that is Proustian in spirit. It's lovely. I don't know how much meaning it would have for you if you have not read any of Remembrance of Things Past. It has beautiful images but they are necessarily surreal.
