I think we are overdue for some profit taking in the semi's after this recent rally. It's starting today with a broad market sell off but who knows because I certainly think we have seen the bottom: dailynews.yahoo.com Microchip gear maker Novellus Systems Inc. (NasdaqNM:NVLS - news) saw its shares slump after its profits fell from the previous quarter, citing a rapid slowdown in semiconductor capital spending. The company also said it does not expect a rebound in bookings until the fourth quarter. Novellus fell $2.94 to $52.55.
