Sunshadow,

I love these sunny days when the kids can be outside.
I think the fascination children have with blowing bubbles is so exciting. Two of my children, Brian and Kevin are outside with the 2 year old neighbor boy doing just that right now. It is so cute. Just when you think it doesn't get any better, it does. Kevin came into the house and went and got the aquarium fish net from under the sink. He told me he was taking it outside. I instantly had the vision of him slopping it into the bubbles and making a big mess. I ask him, "Kevin, what are you going to do with that??" I loved his answer, "Mom, I am going to use it to catch bubbles!!!"

My morning smile as provided by Kevin.

Kevin found a photographic negative. I was looking at it quite intently. He seemed pretty amazed at it. He points to the one "picture" on the negative and with great curiosity ask me, "where was that picture taken?" I told him that it was taken in the neighbors back yard. He continued to look at the picture. After a bit and looking quite confused he said, "but who are those really tiny people." I knew what the picture was of, but had to look at it, as to why he thought they were "really tiny" people. Sure enough, being that he was only looking at the negative from the picture of Emily's "American Girl dolls" posed on the children's activity gym, it surely looked like "tiny" people. In the negative the dolls look real!!! He honestly had been looking at it in such amazement, because he thought those were real "tiny people!!"

out of the mouth's of children...

smiling,
Jane
